Drawn to the Wild: Competition Winners Announced

Drawn to the Wild: Competition Winners Announced

A heartfelt thank you to all the talented young artists who entered our Drawn to the Wild Art Competition. We were absolutely blown away by the creativity, care, and love for koalas that shone through in every single entry. Each artwork captured something unique - from bold, imaginative colours to heartfelt messages about protecting the wild places koalas call home.

This community art initiative was designed to inspire children to explore their connection with nature through creativity, and the results were simply outstanding.

Community Spirit and Creativity

We received more than 320 votes in the People’s Choice Award, showing just how much our community embraced the event. The feedback from voters reflected admiration, pride, and a shared sense of responsibility for koala conservation.

“A lovely opportunity to see the budding artists of today – lots of talent coming through.”

“I loved all the beautiful artworks by the children and the thoughtful descriptions that went into them.”

“Wonderful involvement by the children raising essential awareness of koalas and their challenges.”

“Great to showcase budding artists while encouraging them to understand about koala conservation.”

These reflections remind us that art has the power to connect people of all ages to nature and to spark real action for conservation.

Thank You to Our Supporters

A massive thank you to our neighbours at WildNets for generously sponsoring prizes and supporting this community celebration of art, creativity, and conservation. Their ongoing partnership helps us engage young people in caring for Australia’s wildlife.
