Community Volunteering Days
Koala Conservation Australia hosts three Community Volunteering days per year that allow your organisation an opportunity to give back to an Australian Charity by volunteering with us for your workforce team.
The activities included within in this program could be tree planting, maintenance, gardening and any other activity that helps the overall organisation.
We have within our network 2 plantations, a breeding facility and a wildlife hospital including exhibit koalas. All of these areas require ongoing maintenance and care, and we would love you and your team to be involved.
How does it work?
We have 3 dates each year that you can book into but as this is a popular activity with businesses, we require you to chat to us first to decide if we are the right fit for you and your team. An introduction email can be sent via our Contact Page to give us some details including who you are and what your team would like to get out of the day.
Every group that volunteers with us makes a difference and we appreciate the support of your organisation in wanting to make a positive impact by donating your time. To help us in achieving our goal of a Healthy and Thriving Koala population we encourage all of the businesses that are involved in these days to fundraise within your communities for KCA before the event. This gives you an opportunity to make a BIG difference to KCA and the Australian Koala Population.
Our community days are usually a half day event finishing with a lunch provided by KCA for your team.
Once we have received your form we will reach out for a chat and if we have a volunteer project running that suit you and your team we can lock in a booking.
