Status: permanent resident

Meet Bobby, the resilient koala who survived a scary and brutal dog attack. After his brave battle, Bobby was taken to the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, where it was found that he had lost feeling and movement in his right leg. His injuries were so severe that he couldn't balance or climb. These days, Bobby lives permanently at our Koala Hospital, where he's been making great progress. Even though he hasn't fully recovered his climbing and jumping skills, his charming personality and beautiful dark grey coat make him a favourite among all the staff and visitors.
