In 2014 we purchased a 230 acre property 10 kilometres north of the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital.  This land was purchased for conservation to plant koala food trees so we can harvest leaf to feed our resident koalas.  To maintain this property, we need your help.

Port Macquarie has the largest population of koalas on the east coast of Australia.  Koala habitat is being diminished by development that will eventually cause the koala population to become extinct unless there are large areas set aside for the active protection of the koalas' natural habitat and for the future of the koala.

The purpose of the Conservation Fund is to conserve, protect and restore habitat areas for wild koalas to assist in reducing their demise or eventual extinction.

This property will also assist other fauna and flora, especially conservation-reliant species, to survive alongside the koala.

Koala Conservation Australia Ltd is a registered charity - donations within Australia are tax-deductible.
